Like many of you, I have spent the last two weeks getting my room ready for the new school year! I will be working with grades K-8 again. I decided to forgo a theme this year and instead am reusing a lot of my decor. I did decide to do an “inspiration wall.”
For the wall, I reflected on things and places in the world that 1). are inspiring to me and perhaps for students and 2). are names of places and things that I believe students should have background knowledge and BOOM! I had it!
Here is my inspiration wall! the wall contains a number of well known places, world wonders and monuments. I also am working on making sure there is something from every country that I have a student from. I think it needs more lights… What do you think?
