I have, Who Has?

This week I started coteaching in my 4th grade class. It was great. We went over unit vocabulary and set up our word wall routine. (Check out my other post to see how I set that up, if interested).

We also began learning some of the KAGAN structures we will use as a whole class this year including,

Today we also added another game that I like to play called, “I Have, Who has?” This game is as easy to play as the name implies.

First I created a deck of cards with some of the vocabulary from module 1. The deck has words from the unit on it in this format. “I have ________. Who has ______?” Students each get a card to play. You can play in whole group or in a small group similar to how the iconic game, “Old Maid,” is played.

Here are directions for the game:

The students loved this game and it was super easy to play. It was a great way to start our coteaching lesson and I loved how easy to prep it was. I’ve created it as a product to make it EVEN easier for you. Get it here.

I have also created a vocabulary bundle for module 1 to save you time. This is a growing bundle. I will continue to add things as I create them. Click the picture link below!

This bundle includes, four corners, I have, Who has?, hexagonal thinking, quiz-quiz trade and soon to be more as it is a growing bundle!

Have a great day!
