It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ve been busy getting into the hang of things. I have small groups and coteaching this year. I’ve been working at finding fun ways to get the kids to interact. We are currently in module 2, extreme settings. Here are a couple of things that I have created and used for fourth grade coteaching with the Wit and Wisdom program:
Four Corners:
I created a four corners game to use for lesson 20. This was helpful because it got the kids up and walking around while they discussed questions from the lesson.

I posted questions and sentence stems around the room (4 total for my scenario), to get kids to work on verbally responding with complete sentences WITH academic vocabulary. It was super fun and the kids seemed to understand their thinking a bit more after sharing it at each corner. Get this game here!
Additionally, I am still using my sentence frames and vocabulary definitions as usual. Lately, we’ve been using a lot of turn and talk, rally robin and other KAGAN structures. Look for ideas on how to use KAGAN here.
I’ll be putting up more module 2 resources soon! Enjoy your week!
